Whatever the source, the goal remains.

PERSON 3: A plan is somewhat in place, but motivation comes and goes. You can have a 3-week streak of training and nutrition excellence, only to follow it with 3 months of saving workouts you’ll never do. You need accountability.

It’s called discovery for a reason:
To discover in detail why you want to build muscle, lose fat, gain strength, live a healthier life, boost your energy, or some combination of the above.
To discover how it bugs you to feel like you’ve done it all and nothing changes, or it doesn’t change for long.
To discover how you’ve been overwhelmed with conflicting information from social media, podcasts, magazines, and everything Google has to offer.
To discover your whys. What triggers you to act or not act. The reason a change matters so much to you.
To discover the sort of impact your modifications will have. Not just physically or visually, but mentally.
To pick up on your roadblocks: progress plateaus, self-doubt, procrastination, no clue how to program, no clue what diet is best, lack of motivation. To discover what’s in your way.
Discovery is how I help get you to your outcome, not only from a tactical standpoint. But from a motivational standpoint. I need to understand what gets you to act when you don’t feel like acting.

I wanted to gain weight bad, I mean Problem Child bad. “Hey Mr. Wilson” bad.. Bebe’s Kids..

This was my life altering obstacle and from my perspective I’d tried everything available to man..
To no avail:

Mass gainers
Muscle Pharm PDFs
Muscle & Fitness magazine tips, Men’s Health, Iron Man (I spent a lot of money in the magazine aisle)
Bodybuilding.com, Askmen.com
I could go on forever..
I traveled the digital and physical globe – literally. I was stationed at Fort Stewart, Georgia and soon Camp Yongsan, South Korea where I had my first breakthrough.
I’d already made significant strides in the training and learning how to work the body department. Started that in high school, however the diet part escaped me.
Then boom ! ! I figured it out. My research started to pay off. I started to gain weight, I was making a way.
But I made the wrong way..
Added weight I wasn’t too interested in adding. I wanted muscle, buuuut that’s not all I got.
An uninvited friend came along for the ride too..
BODY FAT.
Suddenly I was confronted with a new challenge; learn how to lose body fat. Keep in mind I still wasn’t done with the first challenge. I needed to know what went wrong ! !
Allow me to fast forward a bit (picture a Rocky-like montage in your head).
During this montage I learned how to do both, lose body fat while building muscle and gain lean weight.
Yet..
More importantly I learned the WHY. The why taught me what I needed to know to lead others to the land of desired physiques.
Long story less long, as of present day it has been well over a decade..
I’m up 30 pounds from where it all began, and I’ve achieved this as a lifetime natural (I don’t want to be any bigger than this by the way).
I have the fortune of making a living for me and my family by helping others openly stride toward their full potential.
I’ve accumulated over 10 fitness certifications and specialties.
Worked with hundreds of people that wanted more than just a physical transformation; many online and many in-person.
Somehow graduated Magna Cum Laude from UTSA while running a business and having a family.
(Don’t ask me how on that one, I don’t even know how..)
As a firm believer in ever-expanding your knowledge, I also maintain a mind, training, and nutrition blog. This vehicle helps me share new information with over 200,000 friends and followers across social media.
We laugh together, learn together, and motivate each other daily.
Although this all occurs while simultaneously juggling life as a husband and father of three (not to mention my own fitness regimen)..
I wouldn’t change a single piece of the path, it’s more than worthy.

Step 2: You’ll receive a personal E-mail (check your spam) to continue discourse, or schedule a call where we’ll drill down on feasible strategies and set a realistic timeline for you to reach your goals.
Step 3: We make it official and the construction of your plan gets underway.
Step 4: You receive your plan within 2-5 days of the agreement. Here’s where you’ll have the opportunity to look it over and make preparations before we, “ready, set, go”.
Step 5: We make any necessary adjustments to the plan and set an official start date.

When I first started online I’d accept pro bono clients for research and to sharpen how I implemented what works from a distance, as I did in person for years. And one thing for certain is when someone opens their wallet??

I want that from you. Full investment on all fronts. Skin in the game makes you play harder. I can’t allow you to walk away from a commitment you make to yourself. It doesn’t sit well with me.

Someone that merely wants to change their body for vanity purposes. This mindset never wins, of course we all have an urge to look good, but I want the deeper reason. If you haven’t identified what the change would do for you outside of the visual, you aren’t ready yet.
One unprepared to be honest about the good, the bad, and the ugly as it occurs along the way. Mistakes do and will happen, if your pride won’t allow you to be transparent – this won’t work.
Anyone that isn’t coachable. We all have knowledge and a base level of confidence. If yours has you so stuck in an, “I know it all” mentality that I can’t do my job.. don’t waste either of our times.
A Real Coach WANTs YOU TO LEARN
This isn’t just training, it’s a course. Yes it’s possible to work with me and only enjoy quality results, and there’s nothing inherently wrong if you do just that.
But it’s not my preference.
I prefer you engulf yourself in the process, enjoy quality results, and use the learning tools we cover in order to maintain your results.. ultimately on your own. The thing is I want you to know exactly why and what it took to achieve your goals and more, even in my absence if you so please in the future.
Of course from a business perspective this is a less than wise philosophy.. especially if I have financial security in mind. I should want you handicapped to my services.
But the last thing in mind is for you to reach the end of one of our agreements, only to watch the hard work you put in day after day slowly fade.. all because you didn’t gain any knowledge from the experience.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

The transition from “hello” to ”let’s go” is typically 2-5 days after you agree to making this a reality.
After you respond to the questionnaire, and we ensure we’re a good fit you’ll soon receive your first draft copy of the program.
The plan is yours, so you’ll have a chance to look it over and we’ll make reasonable adjustments as needed. Once those kinks, if any, are worked out you’ll take the opportunity to prepare IE grocery shop. Then we’ll be ready to go!
More often than not we’ll start on a Monday for scheduling purposes, yet exceptions can always be made.

We’ll have weekly mandatory reviews to go over how you did over the course of time and implement tweaks going forward.
In addition, there’s unlimited text support throughout the week.

No worries, your program is tailored entirely to where you are in your fitness journey, starting line included!
My social media feed may at times give the impression that I force these wild and crazy challenges on my clients, but no. I meet you where you are along your fitness journey and help continue your progression from there.

A major part of my personal transition from exclusive in-person training to online personal training was scheduling. I understand the need to make professional time, family time, leisure time, and fitness time fit into your life with regularity.
I always emphasize this being your plan, which means it’ll be adapted to your schedule. Of course, there’ll be a degree of change if you’re coming from not training at all to getting it in multiple times weekly. But it’s still about you and your life.

Aside from constant text support and weekly mandatory phone check-ins, you’ll have your daily dietary and exercise to-dos.
