Whatever the source, the goal remains.

All of this started with a simple desire. Nothing too unique about it, just a young man and a desire to build muscle. To “get bigger” and stronger without losing athleticism.
This was my life altering obstacle and from my perspective I’d tried everything available to man..
You can probably picture it now:
Binge eating
Mass gainers
Muscle Pharm PDFs
Muscle & Fitness magazine tips, Men’s Health, Iron Man (I spent a lot of money in the magazine aisle)
Bodybuilding.com, Askmen.com
I could go on forever.. It was an obsession
I traveled the digital and physical globe – literally. I was in the Army. Stationed at Fort Stewart, Georgia and soon Camp Yongsan, South Korea. That’s where my efforts finally gained steam.
I’d already made significant strides in the training and learning how to work the body department. Started that in high school working with teammates. The diet part is what escaped me.
Until one day I figured it out. My endless research took me to exactly how the muscle building process worked. I had information to build on and soon started gaining the weight that seemed so far out of reach, I was making a way.
Skinny was leaving me..
The problem is I added weight I wanted yes.. but also weight I wasn’t too interested in adding. I wanted muscle, buuuut not the extra body fat. I added both.
I wanted to live in the 10% body fat range.
So one solution led to another problem and that problem needed another solution. So I learned how to lose body fat while building muscle. Reliably.
This took my interest to an all-time high, because I knew there had to be an even more efficient way to apply these newfound strategies to myself. And ways to tailor the philosophies to others based on their particular lifestyles and genetic makeups.

I’m up a comfortable 30 pounds as a lifetime natural from where it all began.
I maintain a body fat percentage of approximately 10% year round.
I have the fortune of making a living for me and my family by helping others reach their Muscle and Mentality goals.
I’ve accumulated over 10 fitness certifications and specialties. Ranging from national certifications on down to specialties like biomechanics and speed training.
I’ve had the pleasure to work with 500+ clients that include: athletes, personal trainers, physical therapists, doctors, service members, pharmacists, senior citizens, and so on.
And also graduated Magna Cum Laude from UTSA while running a business and having a family.
I believe in pushing yourself physically and mentally while we’re here for however many years. Part of why I maintain a Muscle And Mentality Journal.. to push myself and share knowledge with over 200,000 readers, friends, and followers.
I’m a husband and father of three. 2 girls and 1 boy.
Life is full of challenges and they never really go away, we just get better at managing them.
I wouldn’t change a single piece of what I’ve had to manage in this lifetime, it has proven to be more than worthy.

WHO V.I.P. Coaching Is Not For
Someone that merely wants to change their body for vanity purposes. This mindset never wins, of course we all have an urge to look good, but you need depth of reasoning. The true root of your motivation. If you haven’t identified what the change will do for you beyond visually, you aren’t quite ready.
Someone unprepared to be honest about the good, the bad, and the ugly as it occurs along the way. Mistakes do and will happen, if your pride won’t allow you to be transparent – this won’t work. You’d waste your money and our time.
Someone that isn’t coachable. We all have knowledge and a base level of confidence. If yours has you so stuck in an, “I know it all” mentality that you won’t allow yourself to take guidance. It’s better if you wait.
A Coach TEAches
V.I.P. Coaching isn’t just “hey, this is the diet and these are the workouts”. That wouldn’t be a special privilege. That wouldn’t be exclusive. Wouldn’t be V.I.P.. There are AI tools that spit out a diet and a workout these days, albeit subpar to real customization, I can’t argue its existence.
You learn with V.I.P. Coaching:

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

The transition from “hello” to ”let’s go” is typically 2-5 days after you agree to making this a reality.
After you respond to the questionnaire, and we ensure we’re a good fit you’ll soon receive your first draft copy of the program.
The plan is yours, so you’ll have a chance to look it over and we’ll make reasonable adjustments as needed. Once those kinks, if any, are worked out you’ll take the opportunity to prepare IE grocery shop. Then we’ll be ready to go!
More often than not we’ll start on a Monday for scheduling purposes, yet exceptions can always be made.

We’ll have weekly mandatory reviews to go over how you did over the course of time and implement tweaks going forward.
In addition, there’s unlimited text support throughout the week.

My social media feed may at times give the impression that I force these wild and crazy challenges on my clients, but no. I meet you where you are along your fitness journey and help continue your progression from there.

A major part of my personal transition from exclusive in-person training to online personal training was scheduling. I understand the need to make professional time, family time, leisure time, and fitness time fit into your life with regularity.
I always emphasize this being your plan, which means it’ll be adapted to your schedule. Of course, there’ll be a degree of change if you’re coming from not training at all to getting it in multiple times weekly. But it’s still about you and your life.

Aside from constant text support and weekly mandatory phone check-ins, you’ll have your daily dietary and exercise to-dos.
If you ever were to fall off track somehow, we’ll take the time to find the source of our problem and implement a solution.
There’s always a way and together we’ll find it.
